ROLES
An OPFOR is trained to mimic a common enemy to a force whether it be military, law enforcement or security services and allows a platform to practice skills and techniques on a realistic entity.

CONVENTIoNAL WARFARE
Help create realistic scenarios including infantry tasks such as vehicle or foot patrolling, holding defensive positions and operating in urban locations.
UNCONVENTIONAL WARFARE
Get trained to help simulate insurgent tactics, these bespoke scenarios can include activities such as shoots, sabotage scenarios, informer networks and logistics operations.
MENTORING OPERATIONS
These scenarios could include, embedded training teams, insider attacks, joint patrolling and joint training scenarios.
TERRORISM
OPFOR Role Players are needed to test clients by thinking outside the box, providing novel and complex challenges in a controlled training environment in replicating terrorist threats.
Domestic RESPONSE
Policing or security services, we can develop and run realistic threat scenarios where ever we are needed.
The Selection Process is designed to be challenging and test your motivation. Here is a 30 minute video showing what challenges you could end up facing! Every OPFOR Role Player has successfully completed a Selection Event.
SELECTION PROCESS
Successful applicants will be invited to attend our selection process. This is a one or two day experience which will allow us to learn more about you and a chance for you to ask questions and discover more about the role.
Due to the investment we will be making into your training, the selection process is challenging. We are not testing your skills, but more how you work with a team and how you react in stressful environments. This is not training, but a unique Selection Event you should be proud to complete.
More about the Roles
Our OPFOR Infantry will provide the keystone positions on which we will create authentic conventional military scenarios. Real adversaries operate in all weather conditions and terrain and so will the OPFOR; wherever they are needed they will be available to conduct realistic infantry tasks such as vehicle or foot patrolling, holding defensive positions and operating in urban locations. Using either client provided tactics and doctrine or the Decisive Action Training Environment, our OPFOR light infantry is a versatile force that offers new challenges and realism in training. Realism that will enhance participation and magnify trainee learning outcomes.
Our OPFOR have a wide range of replica and gas-powered weapons that can simulate firing without the burden of the safety and security requirements of firearms. All our weapons are setup to only simulate noise to create the impression of firing weapons.
Due to the variable nature of the work, your role could be patrolling a building or acting as a civilian in an emergency situation.
Full training for your role will be provided and you’ll find it interesting and diverse.
