OPFOR
TRAINING
OPFOR
An OPFOR is trained to mimic a common enemy to a force whether it be military, law enforcement or security services and allows a platform to practice skills and techniques on a realistic entity. With years of military training and understanding the complexities of replicating challenging scenarios, our OPFOR will create an unmatched training advantage currently only available in other countries.
Successful applicants who apply and are invited and pass a selection will be paid for training.
The training will vary depending on what our next contract is. For example, if we are to replicate soldiers patrolling a building, our training will focus on that.
You will need to be reasonably fit and there are times when you may be asked to be outside during inclement weather.
More About the Roles
Our OPFOR Infantry will provide the keystone positions on which we will create authentic conventional military scenarios. Real adversaries operate in all weather conditions and terrain and so will the OPFOR; wherever they are needed they will be available to conduct realistic infantry tasks such as vehicle or foot patrolling, holding defensive positions and operating in urban locations. Using either client provided tactics and doctrine or the Decisive Action Training Environment, our OPFOR light infantry is a versatile force that offers new challenges and realism in training. Realism that will enhance participation and magnify trainee learning outcomes.
Our OPFOR have a wide range of replica and gas-powered weapons that can simulate firing without the burden of the safety and security requirements of firearms. All our weapons are setup to only simulate noise to create the impression of firing weapons.
Due to the variable nature of the work, your role could be patrolling a building or acting as a civilian in an emergency situation.
Full training for your role will be provided and you’ll find it interesting and diverse.
No experience is required!

OPFOR are not testing your fitness during the event, however a minimum level of fitness is required.
ETHICS
The team behind the OPFOR are apolitical, believers in gender and racial inclusion and are strongly against discrimination. While some of our services may theme regional conflict or specific threat groups, we are only interested in the training value this will bring and will only replicate behaviors as far as necessary to achieve the outcomes.
All staff and participants must be comfortable undertaking any themed activities and are all able to opt out if this becomes confronting. We believe it is important to train to realism, however the wellbeing of those involved will always take precedence.
We do not tolerate racial or hateful behavior within our teams.
SECURITY
The OPFOR is a vetted team that must pass background checks, references and be of continued upstanding ethos and values. Due to the potential confronting nature of an OPFOR, only selected individuals are ever provided training and permitted to provide the service to clients. Any staff that display questionable behavior may be removed from the program.
In addition, all training provided is designed for training only and will not prepare individuals for actual combat or use of firearms. At no time are our role-players ever given access to real firearms and will only operate replica or simulation systems.
SAFETY
All training and employment is developed with safety in mind. Role-players are given first aid training and skills to support safe practice in both environmental and occupational outputs.
Due to the potential environmental exposure, staff are given training on survival in hostile climates and treatment of weather-related injuries as well as trauma.
Other safety measures include, use of hearing protection during loud activities, PPE if projectiles are involved (Simulation or paintball etc).
